Information Desk
SHO volunteers greet patrons, offer information about arts events . The Desk and Gift Shop are open before every event in the Soreng and Silva theatres. Binoculars and cushions are available for rent at those times.
Tour Guides
Volunteer Tour Guides offer walk-in tours. Arrangements may be made by calling our message line at 541-682-5733 at least two weeks in advance.
SHOcase
SHOcase is a free performance, held in the Hult Center lobby, and sponsored by SHO volunteers. It takes place every 1st and 3rd week, October through May. Click here for the full calendar.
Usher Assistance
SHO volunteers assist the ushers by handing out programs and greeting patrons at Hult events and SHOcase performances. Volunteer opportunities are listed on the calendar, marked with a 'V'. Click here for the full calendar.
Performing Arts Student-of-the-Month
SHO volunteers work with teachers and instructors to find deserving local students to receive this honored award. Students selected receive a small stipend to assist them in furthering their studies. Read more
Additional SHO Activities
Other volunteer activities include planning and staffing SHOcase events, organizing meetings, developing project funding, writing and designing the SHO newsletter, and participating in telephoning, mailing and welcoming committees.
