Usher Assistance
SHO volunteers assist the ushers by handing out programs, assisting those with special needs, and greeting patrons at Hult events and SHOcase concerts.

Performing Arts Student-of-the-Month
SHO volunteers work with teachers and instructors to find deserving local students to receive this honored award.  Students selected receive a small stipend to assist them in furthering their studies.

Additional SHO Activities
Other volunteer activities include organizing and decorating for seasonal events, developing project funding, writing and designing the SHO newsletter, or participating in telephoning, mailing and welcoming committees.

SHO is a volunteer organization founded in 1983. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing outreach, education, and community service projects for Eugene's Hult Center for the Performing Arts. SHO provides a vital link between the Center and the community. Past and current projects include installing exterior bicycle racks, maintaining the lobby kiosk and providing listening devices for the hearing impaired. The rental of binoculars and cushions have been added to the list of activities performed during HULT performances.
